We spent 2 very nice weeks in this house. And would love to spend more! This house has the best sunsets I have ever seen. The photos cannot show how beautiful they are…..The sea was so clean and still warm in mid-October. The beach was quiet and there were plenty FREE lounge chairs everywhere. The house has a swimming pool with a “cocktail hang around” section which served the purpose perfectly. But it was also very handy and safe for our small child to jump it in. You really can have everything at Bodrum peninsula. You can enjoy simple life, beautiful views, tasty local food: Pide (Turkish pizza) and of course freshly grilled fish. There are several of them just 10 min walk down the hill from the house. We also went the market in Turgutreis (every Saturday, 5 min drive from the house) to buy fruits, vegetable, local chesses and honey. If you want to do something fancy there bars and restaurants, even a golf club 20 min drive away (by the way, the golf club has a great breakfast). If you want to bring some high-life photos with huge yachts as the background, there are 2 marinas (10 and 20 min drive) for you to hang around, have lunch or dinner and do shopping. And there is still more to discover, so we plan to come back next year.
